The BMH05108 is an 8-electrode body composition module that offers UART, USB and Bluetooth communication interfaces. Users can easily connect it to a development board or a mobile phone.
Due to water's good conductivity, the BIA
BIA (Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis) is a method based on water's good conductivity to measure body composition. When an electrical current passes through high water content tissues, the measured resistance is low (good conductivity), which corresponds to low body fat. Conversely, when it passes through higher fat content tissues, the resistance value is high (poorer conductivity), which represents a higher body fat percentage.
Data analising and transmitting
The BMH05108 outputs the weigh and impedance results directly. You can use a n external Bluetooth module to establish a connection to a mobile phone. BESTHEALTH also provides iOS, Android Apps and Web Application Programming Interface (API) for reading approximately 58 body composition data.
