The product is a weight sensor module integrated into a full-bridge load cell. It appears identical to a full-bridge load cell from the exterior.
The product offers a measurement range from 0 to 5kg and a resolution of 0.1g. It is suitable for applications that require precise measurements, such as kitchen scales, coffee machines, and pet feeders.

Is it necessary to calibrate the weight before first-time use?
Yes, you need to calibrate the module using the 2-points calibration before first-time use.
Steps for calibration:
Power up the module without placing any objects on it.
Issue the calibration command (55 0B A0 01 00 01 00 00 20 4E 90). The module is sending the weighing status and calibrating to the weight of 0kg.
The module automatically sends the weighing status. The operation status is 0x03 in the meantime, indicating it is ready to calibrate the second point.
Place a 2kg standard weight on the load cell (weighing platform). It will then calibrate to the weight of 2kg.
* The default calibration weight is 2kg. You can modify it in the program code.
The module automatically sends the weighing status command. The operation status is 0x04 in the meantime, indicating the calibration is successful.
How to tare the weight?
There are just two steps to tare weight.
Place an object or a standard weight on the load cell (weighing platform) and issue the tare command (operation status: 0x02).
Confirm the weighing status after issuing the above command. Its current weight is 0kg, indicating a successful taring.
Taring is performed in weighing mode. After taring, you can directly weigh without setting the weighing mode again.
