This product is the HT45F85x0 MCU development board for Holtek BMS Workshop. It is used with the HT45F85x0 MCU adaptor board to form a complete Li-ion battery management control board. With the use of Holtek BMS Workshop, a Li-ion battery management system can be easily built.
The product functions include temperature and short circuit protection circuits. It also includes accumulated battery voltage monitor and high-accurate voltage regulator. It is suitable for 3 to 8 cell Li-ion battery products, such as power tools, cordless hair dryers, cordless vacuum cleaners and so on.
The HT45F85x0 MCU development board can be used with the 3 to 8 cell Li-ion battery emulation board and the HT45F85x0 MCU adaptor board. The control program generated by the Workshop can be programmed to the MCU with e-Link or e-WriterPro.
Holtek provides BMS Workshop, with which the Li-ion battery protection functions can be set and tested by users. Users can change the following settings :
- Protection functions for battery charging, discharging, short circuit and temperature
- Pins parameters
- Lights display mode：low voltage, battery failure, charging finished, etc.
- Voltage calibration
- Software parameters
- Coulometer
