The ESK-IRRC-T00 is a general infrared remote control development board that includes a Holtek 8-bit MCU, HT68F2420, 136-key buttons, and an IR LED. It is suitable to develop a remote controller without LCD.

The ESK-IRRC-T00 needs to be used with the development platform, infrared remote controller workshop developed by Holtek. With the development platform, users can choose to develop products by user define mode or standard mode. It also can use code wave mode and with the decoder, the ESK-IRRC-R00, to make the development easier.

PRODUCT INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Connect ESK-IRRC-T00 to a computer and set up the development platform software.
  2. Create a project:
    (1) Remote control: General Remote Controllers.
    (2) Three kinds of development modes: code wave mode, user define mode and standard mode.
  3. Development
    (1) Standard mode: it provides multiple protocols, such as NEC, Philips RC-5, Philips RC-6, Sharp, JVC, and so on.
       Users don't need to configure any parameters in this mode. Please refer to the "User Guide" for more information.
    (2) User define mode: users can define all the parameters.
    (3) Code wave mode: It needs to use with a decoder in this mode.
       Please refer to the product page of the ESK-IRRC-R00 for more information.
  4. Key configuration: users can choose the number of keys that are enabled on the development board, drag an I/O icon into the key position, and generate the data. (configuration order: PB7 to PB0; PA7 to PA0)
  5. Open HT-IDE3000 software and import the above data to rebuild a project.
  6. Open HOPE3000 software and program the project to the remote control development board via e-Link.
