DESCRIPTION

The HT1381A is a serial timekeeper IC designed for low power consumption products. It provides the functions of seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month and year calculation and leap years automatically adjustment. The HT1381A provides two operation modes: the 12-hour mode (with an AM / PM indicator) and the 24-hour mode.

The HT1381A includes several registers to store the corresponding information with 8-bit data format and transmit by serial I/O to connect with a microprocessor. It only require three wires: RESTB, SCLK and I/O. Datas can be transmitted 1 byte each time or 8 bytes in a burst.
