Description
The G-ICPM32040 is the programming module of Gang-Writer32-8 (Gang Writer for Holtek 32-bit MCUs). Each Gang-Writer32-8 comes with two programming module G-ICPM32040, however users can purchase extra G-ICPM32040 to expand the programming channels. Each module has the capability of programming four Holtek 32-bit MCUs in parallel.
This module can also be used as a 4-channel gang writer individually. Each channel has its own LEDs to indicate the programming status. Same as the Gang-Writer32-8, this module supports all Holtek 32-bit MCUs.

We measured the time of programming 128KB code to the HT32F52352 MCU, which is of 128KB flash memory), the programming time was about 2.8 seconds. The code file Ptest32F52352.HEX can be downloaded in the DOCUMENT section. The target board is ESK32-30501 HT32F52352 Starter Kit。

Q & A
1. What are the precautions for using online programming?When using online programming, the programming module G-ICPM32040 is like an e-Link32 Pro.
Please notice the followings:
(1) In the programming software e-Link32 Pro ICP Tool, uncheck “Offline Programming Mode” in “Options”.
(2) The programming module and the target board must be powered separately.
(3) In online programming, each time only one channel can program, use “START” button to switch channels.
2. What are the precautions for using offline programming?When using offline programming, remember to download the program to all 4 channels (ICP1 – ICP4), otherwise the module will not program (the STATUS LED will flash). Please refer to the user’s guide for the rest of the operation.
